SupportClimateJustice.org allows users to lend their support for a more equitable and hospitable planet for today’s most vulnerable people and future generations. Initiated by the Global Call for Climate Action (GCCA), the website aims to gather public backing for climate justice in order to drive the political will needed for the transformational leadership needed to adequately address the climate crisis.
On supportclimatejustice.org the public has an opportunity to support the priority pathways to climate justice as set out in the Declaration on Climate Justice. The Declaration was initially supported by the High Level Advisory Committee to the Climate Justice Dialogue.
The Climate Justice Dialogue, an initiative of the Mary Robinson Foundation – Climate Justice and the World Resources Institute, aims to mobilize political will and creative thinking to shape an ambitious and just international climate agreement in 2015. The group is working to ensure that the new agreement is informed by science, considers the specific needs of the most vulnerable populations, and catalyses sustainable development.
